Yesterday, Tuesday, Hamas handed over the remains of other detainees to Israel. The Israeli army stated that it received 4 coffins from the Red Cross at a meeting point in the northern sector, adding that they were transported into Israel for forensic examinations.
For its part, the International Committee of the Red Cross said yesterday, Tuesday, that “handing over the remains of Israeli detainees who died in Gaza will take time,” describing the matter as a “huge challenge given the difficulty of finding the remains amid the rubble of Gaza.”
The “Times of Israel” newspaper quoted sources saying that “Israel will also reduce the amount of humanitarian aid entering Gaza, as part of the sanctions imposed on Hamas.”
