Israel Prepares Plan to Defeat Hamas in Gaza

The Israeli Army Radio reported this Wednesday evening that Katz has issued orders to the Israeli army to prepare a comprehensive plan to defeat Hamas in Gaza if war in the area is renewed. The radio clarified that Katz held discussions with the Chief of Staff and army leadership about the readiness of their forces in Gaza, where the Defense Minister instructed the preparation of a comprehensive plan to defeat Hamas in Gaza if they refuse to implement President Trump’s plan, necessitating the resumption of fighting.

According to Trump’s plan, Hamas must return all the bodies of prisoners in its possession and disarm, while Israel, in cooperation with an international force led by the United States, will work to destroy all tunnels in Gaza to ensure the disarmament of the area and eliminate any threat to the State of Israel.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Hamas handed over the remains of other detainees to Israel. The Israeli army stated that it received four coffins from the Red Cross at a meeting point in the northern sector, adding that they were transferred to Israel for forensic examinations.

Israel decided yesterday, Tuesday, that it would not open the Rafah crossing on the pretext of not receiving Israelis from Gaza. Egypt hosted a peace summit on Monday in Sharm El-Sheikh, chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his American counterpart Donald Trump, with the participation of delegation leaders from about 20 countries.

Over two years of continuous Israeli war on the sector, the area has been destroyed from the far south to the north, with the medical sector, schools, universities, places of worship, infrastructure, and vital resources that support life in the area being destroyed. Fifteen vital sectors in Gaza were destroyed, and the attacks left large numbers of Palestinian civilian casualties and injuries.
