Egypt hosted a peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday, led by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, with the participation of leaders and delegations from about 20 countries. Trump announced yesterday at a press conference during the Sharm El-Sheikh peace summit on Gaza, attended by several regional and international leaders, the signing of a ‘historic’ document to halt the war between Hamas and Israel, which he described as a step in the efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.
