According to Syrian media, the Israeli occupation army infiltrated the town of Jbata al-Khashab, searched a house, and arrested seven young men. Last Saturday, dozens of Israeli military vehicles penetrated the village of Al-Asha in the countryside of Quneitra. Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced the arrest of Syrian citizens, alleging “suspicion of their involvement in promoting terrorist activities” against occupation forces. It also claimed that the occupation forces found “combat equipment” during their sweeps in the areas they operated in. The statement added: “The 210th Division forces continue their deployment in the area and work to thwart attempts by terrorist elements to establish themselves, aiming to ensure the security of Israel’s citizens,” as they described. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that “Israel wants to establish a demilitarized zone in southern Syria, including Suwayda.”
