The Israeli newspaper ‘Maariv’ published an Israeli opinion poll today, Friday, which also showed that 27% of the remaining Israelis support granting a pardon to Netanyahu, but on the condition that he admits to the charges against him and retires from political work. The poll confirmed that 21% opposed granting the pardon to Netanyahu, and 14% did not answer, while 83% of voters from the ruling ‘coalition’ parties supported granting a pardon to Netanyahu without any conditions. Meanwhile, 49% of voters led by Yair Lapid supported the pardon in exchange for Netanyahu admitting the charges against him and stepping away from political life, and 32% of them said they opposed granting the pardon.

The poll revealed that 45% of Israelis, including 61% of voters from ‘opposition’ parties, support revoking the right to vote in Knesset elections from military service evaders, referring to the ‘Haredim.’ This was opposed by 38%, including 60% of voters from coalition parties.

If Knesset elections were held now, the poll stated that the ruling party would obtain 26 seats, compared to 22 seats for the party led by Naftali Bennett, while the ‘Democrats’ party would secure 9 seats.
