The teaser is perfectly set to Madonna’s Vogue.
According to Variety, the sequel follows Runway editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly as she navigates her career in a challenging time for print journalism. She soon encounters her former assistant Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), now a prominent executive at a company Miranda hopes to collaborate with.
The original movie was inspired by Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 bestselling novel, which centers on Andy (Anne Hathaway), a young New Yorker who scores a job at a prestigious fashion magazine under the demanding Miranda Priestly.
Returning alongside Streep, Hathaway, and Blunt, Stanley Tucci will also reprise his role in this new installment.
Written by Aline Brosh McKenna and directed by David Frankel, the film introduces new talent such as Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, and Caleb Hearon.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is slated for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026.
