BTS’ youngest star Jeon Jungkook is turning 28 in just two days. Fans worldwide are preparing to celebrate ‘JK Day’, while the K-pop icon surprised everyone with a lengthy live stream on Friday, engaging with BTS ARMYs directly.

This Weverse live session, which has attracted over 18 million viewers, was filled with revelations and unexpected moments. And no, we don’t just mean BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) casually joining in and nearly co-hosting.

JK’s Weverse live streams often exceed an hour, featuring life updates, songs, and even moments where he dozes off. On Friday, he updated fans about BTS’ new album, discussed his love for food, shared that his dog Bam is healthier now, and revealed his neurodivergence.

1. ‘I have adult ADHD’

This revelation caught many ARMYs off guard, though it explains a lot. During the live, a fan asked Jungkook to sit still. The ‘3D’ hitmaker confessed, “I kind of have adult ADHD. I can’t help it, I keep moving.”

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that often leads to difficulty concentrating and staying still, among other symptoms. These traits can persist from childhood into adulthood.

While some fans were surprised by Jungkook’s openness, others criticized the fan for pushing the singer to disclose his neurodivergence.

2. Running by Han river

Jungkook and Taehyung shared their new routine of running along the Han river in Seoul three times a week after sunset. They even invited ARMYs to join, but asked them to follow certain guidelines.

You can run alongside them, but don’t talk to the idols; just gesture to show you’re an ARMY. Avoid “silly stuff” like pointing, and don’t take pictures of them while they’re panting or drooling. Moreover, overtaking them while running is a no-go, as it might “hurt their pride,” according to the youngest BTS members.

3. Mini house tour

After returning from the US where they worked on their new album, Jungkook and other BTS members have been busy. The vocalist recently moved into a new house but hasn’t spent much time there since his military discharge.

During the live session, he took fans on an impromptu tour of his dimly lit home, showing off his TV setup with multiple speakers, his gym, the stairs, and the second floor layout. Jungkook also shared his current obsession with incense.

4. 9 black beanies

Regardless of the weather, Jungkook and his beanies are inseparable. He reassured fans that he owns nine identical black beanies, not just one. “Please don’t misunderstand, I have 9 of the same beanies… Even if they look the same, there are two different types; even I can’t tell them apart.” Thanks for the clarification, JK.

5. Eating once a day

Known for his rigorous fitness and diet regime, Jungkook spends countless hours in the gym and often discusses his extreme measures to maintain his weight.

He mentioned returning to his diet and workout routine to lose more weight. When asked what he plans to eat for his birthday, Jungkook replied, “I usually eat once a day. Originally, Taehyung and I were going to eat pork belly, but I had fittings, so I just had gimbap instead.”
