On her birthday, September 21, Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor received a heartfelt message from her sister, Karisma. Karisma posted a sweet photo with her “cherished sister” Kareena, writing, “Best sister, best friends, and beyond… Happy birthday to my most precious sister. Love you immensely.”
Following her post, many celebrities, family members, and fans flooded Kareena with warm birthday wishes. Saba Pataudi, Riddhima Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar shared heart emojis, while a fan commented, “Favourite Kapoor sister forever, happy Birthday to the one and only, my favourite Kareena Kapoor Khan, the gorgeous lady in the world.”
Kareena, the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, launched her Bollywood career in 2000 with Refugee and has since become a leading actress with hits like Jab We Met and 3 Idiots.
She is set to star alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran in Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra. In April, they announced the film after a brief meeting. Excited about working with the “dream team,” Kareena expressed on Instagram, “I’ve always said I’m a director’s actor… and this time I eagerly anticipate working with one of our finest directors, @meghnagulzar, and the exceptional @therealprithvi, whose work I greatly admire.
