This came during his country’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly, as reported by the Kuwaiti News Agency “KUNA” on Thursday. The Crown Prince of Kuwait stated that it is not feasible to call on the world to enforce international law in one location while ignoring it in another.
Al-Sabah said, “We urge all countries to recognize the Palestinian state and look forward to leveraging the momentum from the international conference for a two-state solution,” noting that Israel bears responsibility for the violations it has committed against the Palestinians.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince continued, “The Security Council must be more capable of addressing current challenges,” warning of a dangerous escalation in the Middle East region.
From October 7, 2023, until September 18 of the current year, the events in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of about 65,000 Palestinians and approximately 167,000 injuries, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
It is worth noting that Israel’s control plan over the city, known as “Gideon’s Chariots 2,” includes the forced displacement of about one million Palestinians to the southern sector, which has led to widespread international criticism of Israel, which has continued its preparations to implement the plan despite all warnings.
