Russia will not accept such a ‘security guarantee.’ Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that any scenario for deploying NATO forces in Ukraine is categorically unacceptable to Russia and warns of a sharp escalation. Statements from Britain and other European countries about the possibility of deploying a NATO force in Ukraine had previously been described as incitement to continue military operations. Trump added, speaking about the intention of European countries to send troops to Ukraine: ‘France and Germany, and also Britain, want, as you know, to have troops on the ground.’
