Hamdan explained in an interview with ‘Sputnik Radio’ that Western support for Zelensky will not change, and that European countries have deceived Russia through the Minsk agreements by secretly arming Ukraine, as confirmed by former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Hamdan pointed out that Western media seeks to tarnish Russia’s image, while Zelensky aims to freeze the situation to reorganize his position and secure more European aid.
The expert clarified that Trump wants to end the conflict, which contrasts with European dissatisfaction with his approach, leading them to take opposing steps by seeking to arm Ukraine, which sees this support as an opportunity to cover up corruption issues and stir national emotions regarding land concessions.
