In Dubai’s real estate scene, summer, particularly August, is typically the slowest period. The industry often faces empty showrooms and reduced activity. However, Mira Developments aimed to change that narrative.
“August is often seen as the worst month for real estate, with expectations of low numbers and a slowdown. It was a challenge we were ready to face. Together with Marwan Al Kindi, founder of Lighthouse Properties, we pondered a simple question: what if we defy this norm? That’s how the Summer Offer was born, transforming August into the most successful month in Mira’s history. Over 3,600 brokers from 1,000 agencies participated, leading to record-breaking sales. We discovered that challenging the ‘impossible’ can lead to surprising market reactions.”
Throughout the month, agents and brokers enjoyed a unique package of benefits: dining at Locus Gastrohub, complimentary barbershop services by S&B, a bakery and coffee bar, VIP meeting rooms, and a fully equipped podcast studio with technical support from Mira Business FM sound engineers. This was all hosted at Art of Living, the home of the Mira Developments Sales Gallery.
Brokers were invited to use the Sales Gallery as their secondary office, and over 3,600 professionals from 1,000 agencies took up the offer. The results were extraordinary: August achieved the highest sales volume in Mira’s history, demonstrating that innovative and unconventional strategies can redefine market dynamics.
The Summer Offer also bolstered Mira’s expanding partner network. Numerous new agencies joined the developer’s ecosystem, setting the stage for expansion into new markets and branded residences. Some agencies achieved personal records with Mira’s portfolio, including the Summer Offer competition winners, Teodora Radu and Qildor Homes Real Estate, who were honored with Rolex watches.
The announcement of the Summer Offer winners seamlessly transitioned into Mira Developments’ inaugural annual Broker Awards. This event celebrated the top five agencies of H1 2025, awarding them with Rolex watches. KYG Prestige Properties secured fifth place, followed by Superior and Serendipity in fourth, AKT Real Estate in third, Seven Luxury Real Estate in second, and Aeon & Trisl, the grand prize winners, receiving a BMW.
H1 2025 has already been a landmark period for Mira Developments, highlighted by the ongoing success of Trussardi Residences in Dubai, Gianfranco Ferré Residences on Marjan Island, the launch of Mira Coral Bay in Ras Al Khaimah—the world’s first multi-branded waterfront community, and international projects like POST Hotel & Residences by ELIE SAAB in Switzerland. Mira also announced its entry into Oman with land acquisitions in Salalah.
