The survey, released last Wednesday and conducted by the “John Smith” Center at the University of Glasgow, indicated that only 38% of participants might consider military service “under certain conditions.” Supporters of the right-wing British “Reform” Party were the most inclined, with 50% stating they would fight under certain conditions. On the other hand, supporters of the “Green” Party were the least willing to defend their country, with only 28% readiness. It is noted that the survey was conducted in April 2026 and included 2,051 people.
