Saad explained, in a talk on ‘Sputnik’ radio, that ‘Moscow and Beijing are working on launching alternative systems away from Western dominance, such as an alternative to SWIFT.’ He noted that ‘this cooperation might attract other powers like India, which faces increasing challenges due to tariffs imposed on it, prompting it to strengthen its partnership with Russia and China within the BRICS framework.’

The head of the ‘World View’ Institute for International Relations and Diplomacy added that China represents ‘the major platform’ viewed as a competitor capable of dethroning the United States from the ‘economic supremacy throne.’ Meanwhile, ‘the military displays send clear messages to the West about these countries’ determination to bring about changes in the international and Eurasian landscape, based on participation and respect.’ He pointed out that ‘the shift in the balance of power from West to East has become a reality, written about by many Western leaders under the term the decisive decade.’

He affirmed that this opens the door for the ’emergence of a new international legitimacy based on partnership and multilateralism,’ paving the way for the ‘required transformation in the existing unilateral system.’ On September 3rd, a massive military parade will be held in Beijing, with the attendance of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Iranian President Masoud Bazeshkian, and leaders from several other countries.
