The Spanish newspaper ‘Marca’ reported that Mourinho, who previously coached at Real Madrid, has been contacted to explore the possibility of his return to Europe via Benfica. On the other hand, the management of Al-Ittihad offered to extend his contract until 2027, as the player feels he is the true leader of the team. This comes amid uncertainty about Benzema’s future with Al-Ittihad, especially after the team’s 2-0 loss in the fourth round of the ‘Roshen’ league last Friday evening. Since joining Al-Ittihad, Benzema has scored 41 goals and provided 17 assists in 65 matches, making him a key pillar of the team.
