The Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) has introduced ‘PayFlex’, a novel system enabling customers to pay government service fees in interest-free installments. Unveiled at Gitex Global 2025, this initiative aims to strengthen Sharjah’s digital payment landscape.
As per SFD, PayFlex allows individuals and businesses to pay their government service fees electronically or in person via the Tahseel platform, with payment terms extending up to six months and instant approval. The system incurs no extra charges, offering a flexible and accessible option for residents and businesses.

The department stated that PayFlex will significantly ease financial pressures and promote financial inclusion by offering secure, user-friendly payment solutions.
Huda Al Yasi, Director of the Financial System Department at SFD, mentioned that the launch of PayFlex underscores the department’s dedication to developing smart financial solutions that foster innovation and enhance customer convenience.
