The Israeli military reported detecting a projectile launched from Gaza on Tuesday, marking the two-year anniversary of Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack, which ignited a devastating conflict in the Palestinian territory, resulting in over 67,000 casualties to date.
“A projectile was detected crossing from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, likely landing in the region. No injuries have been reported,” stated the Israeli military, noting that alarms were triggered in Netiv Haasara, near Gaza’s northern border.
