According to Israeli sources, the protesters organized this demonstration on Monday night/Tuesday to pressure the government to halt the plan to occupy the city of Gaza, due to the danger it poses to their children. The Israeli police imposed a security cordon with a radius of 300 meters around Netanyahu’s house to prevent protesters from approaching it.
This comes following reports published by American media indicating that the Israeli army has launched a large-scale ground attack on the city of Gaza with the aim of seizing control. A few hours earlier, Palestinian media reported that Israel conducted 37 operations within 20 minutes, along with ongoing artillery shelling and the deployment of explosive robots.
Since October 7, 2023, until September 8, 2025, the attacks on Gaza have resulted in the death of about 65,000 Palestinians and approximately 165,000 injured, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
