Moscow – Sputnik. On the evening of November 30th, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited one of the command centers of the Joint Forces Group, where he received field reports, among others. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated in a press release that “the servicemen of the 128th Motorized Brigade of the 44th Military Corps within the ‘North’ Forces Group evacuated civilians from the city of Volchansk in the Kharkiv region and provided them with the necessary assistance.” During the evacuation of unarmed civilians, most of whom were elderly and included people with limited mobility, Ukrainian forces used attack drones and mortars against them. The attack resulted in two women being injured by shrapnel, and Russian soldiers provided them with necessary medical aid promptly. According to the Ministry of Defense, “After reaching a safe area, the residents of Volchansk were transported by vehicles to a rear area, where temporary shelter was provided along with places to rest and hot meals.”
