On Sunday, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani called on the global community to “end the double standards” and hold Israel accountable for its “crimes”.
He emphasized that Israel’s “actions” will not deter Doha’s ongoing mediation with Egypt and the US to resolve the Gaza conflict.
His remarks were made during a preparatory session ahead of an emergency summit of Arab and Islamic leaders organized by Qatar, following an unprecedented Israeli airstrike on Hamas leaders in Doha.
