Rayhan Thomas Eyes PGA Tour Card in Crucial Playoffs

Following Europe’s thrilling Ryder Cup win in New York, the global golf calendar shifts back to individual pursuits, and for UAE fans, Rayhan Thomas’s journey stands out.

The 24-year-old, representing Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, is ranked 106th on the Korn Ferry Tour’s season-long Points Table as he gears up for this week’s Compliance Solutions Championship in Oklahoma. This stage is crucial: only the top 20 players will earn full PGA Tour cards for 2026, with two playoff events remaining, making every shot vital.

Ranked 703rd in the Official World Golf Ranking, Thomas is hitting his stride at an opportune moment.

“I’ve been playing much better recently. I feel more optimistic and am progressing,” Thomas shared with Khaleej Times. “I aim to climb the Points table in this event.”

Inspired by his close friend and travel partner Zach Bauchou, who recently claimed a Korn Ferry Tour victory in Tennessee, Thomas is eager to match his success.

“Zach, my best friend, just won recently… we travel and stay together on tour, so I hope his success is infectious. Zach is now seventh in the Korn Ferry Points Table and looks set to secure his PGA Tour Card for 2026.”

This week’s event at The Patriot Golf Club in Oklahoma is the third of four playoff events. Only the top 75 of the 120 players will proceed to the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Indiana. For Thomas, it’s a prime chance to advance and keep his PGA Tour aspirations alive.
