Revolutionary Guard’s Warning on Aggression

The Revolutionary Guard, in a statement marking the anniversary of “Operation True Promise 2,” stated that “this operation was not only a firm punishment in response to the occupation’s aggressions but also a clear message to the world that the era of threats without consequences has ended.” The statement confirmed that “any new aggression from the enemy will be met with a harsher and more stringent response than previous True Promise operations,” indicating that “the response to any potential aggression will bring the false Zionist entity closer to its end.” Last year, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of an operation called “True Promise 2” in response to the assassination of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard General, Abbas Nilforoushan. On the night of June 13, 2025, Israel launched an operation against Iran, accusing it of “conducting a secret military nuclear program,” targeting airstrikes on nuclear facilities, prominent nuclear physicists, and airbases. In turn, Iran rejected these accusations and retaliated with attacks on Israel. The conflict escalated, with the United States joining in, executing a one-time attack on Iranian nuclear facilities on the night of June 22. Following this, Tehran launched missile strikes on the American Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on the evening of the 23rd of the same month, affirming that “the Iranian side does not intend to escalate further.” Then Trump announced a ceasefire agreement, officially ending the 12-day war.
