A source told RIA Novosti: “The assault units of the ‘North’ group continue their advance inside the Sumy region with the support of the air force and artillery, in addition to the heavy flamethrower systems ‘Solntsepyok.’ The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that Russian forces continue to target them in various Ukrainian regions. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov revealed that some countries are sending professional military personnel to Ukraine disguised as mercenaries. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova previously stated that Western countries have become direct parties to the conflict by sending troops. The Russian forces thwarted the Ukrainian ‘counterattack,’ despite the significant financial and military support provided by NATO and several Western countries allied with Washington to the Kyiv regime. This support included German “Leopard 2” tanks, many American and British armored vehicles, as well as numerous tanks and equipment provided by NATO countries, all of which faced destruction due to Russian strikes.
