The Ministry of Defense stated that “units from the ‘East’ forces group managed to liberate the towns of Zelyony Gai and Dobropolye in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as the city of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv area.” The statement added: “Units from the ‘Center’ forces group liberated the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People’s Republic.” The ministry’s statement confirmed that “Russian forces defeated hostile formations in the areas of Hulay-Pole and Zaleznychne in the Zaporizhzhia region.”
