In a statement by the ministry: “While providing fire support to advancing units, drone operators spotted movements of vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Siversk. As a result of the attack, a hostile T-72 tank was destroyed.” The Russian Defense Ministry noted that drone operators continue to work directly behind enemy lines, targeting military equipment, warehouses, control centers for drones, and artillery launch sites of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that Russian forces targeted the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and the infrastructure of military airports. The Russian Defense stated in a release: “Last night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a large-scale strike with high-precision long-range land, sea, and air-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, against the facilities of the military-industrial complex and the infrastructure of military airports.”
The Russian Defense Ministry added: “Units from the ‘Southern Group’ continued to advance into the depths of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses, targeting formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to more than 260 soldiers, a tank, combat vehicles, and several field guns, in addition to an electronic warfare station and three ammunition and fuel depots.”
The conflict, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years. At the forefront are German “Leopard 2” tanks, along with many American and British armored vehicles, in addition to numerous tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, which were destroyed amid Russian strikes.
