In an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio, Ayoub stated that the ‘Burevestnik’ and ‘Poseidon’ missiles are not nuclear weapons but ‘scientific technologies that no country in the world possesses.’ He clarified that ‘Moscow takes all possibilities seriously, especially after the recent statements by US President Donald Trump regarding a return to nuclear testing,’ noting that ‘it coordinates its responses in a way that serves its national interests.’
The Russian affairs specialist observed that ‘the United States seeks by all means to maintain its dominance over international decision-making and works to prevent the emergence of opposition,’ confirming that it faces two obstacles: the first is its inability to remove Russia from the international arena, and the second is the formation of alliances opposing its policies under the leadership of Moscow, Beijing, and other world countries.
He pointed out that ‘Russia still trusts the results of the Alaska summit and what was agreed upon there, yet Trump is under pressure from Western and European media trying to sabotage the American-Russian agreement,’ emphasizing that ‘Russia does not rely on meetings and statements, but on what can be implemented on the ground.’
Ayoub explained that ‘it is difficult for any American president to make a radical shift in American policy or confront the deep state’s influence, which works in coordination with European countries to continue controlling the world’s resources, deceiving countries with the illusion of independence while they remain under dominance.’
Regarding the visit of Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu to Egypt, Ayoub explained that ‘the United States faces a challenge from Arab countries rejecting its unilateral solutions in the Middle East,’ stressing that ‘these countries are granted a stronger position to confront American hegemony, and enhance Russia’s role as a key player in resolving the Middle Eastern conflict and achieving regional balance.’
