The ministry reported that the crew of the Tornado-S rocket launcher, belonging to the Russian ‘West’ Group, destroyed a secret temporary deployment site housing members of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The ministry added that the targets were identified through reconnaissance aircraft, and after receiving the data, the Tornado-S crew quickly targeted the specified area.
According to the Russian defense, drones were used to increase targeting accuracy. Kupiansk is considered a major defensive center for the Ukrainian armed forces in the eastern part of the Kharkiv region. It is the largest town in the area, located east of Oskil, and after the city is liberated, Russian forces will be able to advance westward.
