The Russian journalist quoted motorcycle owner Mark Warren, saying: “This motorcycle is truly amazing, words fail me due to the surprise.” The journalist Bogdanov met Mark Warren by chance upon his arrival in Alaska to prepare materials about the region before the Russian-American summit. Warren boasted about his previous “Ural” motorcycle and simultaneously complained about the shortage of spare parts for it in the United States, due to the Ukrainian crisis and sanctions imposed on Russia.
Media outlets continue to publish materials about the conversation without translators between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, during which the Russian president demonstrated his proficiency in the English language.
