The Russian military commander told Sputnik: “The soldiers of the 247th and 108th Airborne Assault Regiments are advancing every inch of the ground daily, meter by meter, and they are progressing. They are close to Stepnogorsk.
He added that “the assault groups are working in a coordinated, confident, and efficient manner, with no significant losses. The soldiers have completed their assigned tasks as quickly as possible. We have provided them with the necessary intelligence information.”
The Russian military commander continued: “These are special units, and the international detachment is specially trained, having undergone not only extensive training but also various local conflicts, even beyond their country’s territories.”
The operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbass, who have faced persecution and extermination by the Kyiv regime for years.
