According to the South China Morning Post, the S1500 airship turbine generated 1 megawatt of power. It features an airfoil-shaped and ring-shaped wing, forming a giant channel containing 12 turbine generators with a capacity of 100 kilowatts each. The helium-filled airship rises to an altitude of about 1500 meters, allowing the system to capture strong and stable winds and convert them into electricity with a total power of approximately 1.2 megawatts. The energy is transmitted to the ground via ultra-strong cables. The main advantage of the airship is that its installation does not require massive supports and it is easy to transport, according to the developers.
