This was stated in press comments made by Sa’ar on the sidelines of a conference on the Mediterranean region, hosted by the Italian city of Naples, according to Western media today, Thursday. According to the media, Sa’ar did not clarify whether the crossing would be opened for the passage of goods, individuals, or both. Since the ceasefire agreement was reached in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and signed by the guarantor countries, namely Egypt, the United States, Turkey, and Qatar, Hamas has released the living and handed over some of the bodies of the dead to Israel, stating that it is searching for the remaining bodies.
However, an attempt was made to pressure Hamas by claiming that the movement did not fulfill its commitments regarding the handover of bodies, hinting at the use of sanctions, most notably restricting the entry of aid into the sector.
