Saudi Arabia ranks 5th globally among the largest defense budgets in the world, and its army is ranked 24th globally and 12th among Asian armies. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif signed a joint strategic defense agreement on September 17, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
