The delegation that arrived in Riyadh today, Monday, as reported by Saudi Arabia’s ‘Asharq Al-Awsat’, is conducting discussions with the Saudi side, with the presence of representatives from the private sector of both parties.
The visit is a continuation of the outcomes of the ‘Saudi-Syrian Forum’, which took place last month, with the participation of more than 100 Saudi companies and 20 government entities.
The forum resulted in the signing of 47 investment projects with a total exceeding 24 billion riyals, covering sectors such as real estate and infrastructure, communications and information technology, energy, industry, tourism, health, and trade.
According to the newspaper, this step confirms the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening its economic partnerships with Arab countries, contributing to sustainable development, and enhancing its global investment role.
In June, Saudi Arabia and Qatar announced joint financial support for public sector workers in Syria for three months, continuing both countries’ efforts to support and accelerate the recovery of the Syrian economy.
In July, the Saudi Ministry of Investment announced that the investments would cover vital and strategic sectors in Syria.
