Sarhan stated in an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio: ‘Tomorrow, seven countries will recognize the Palestinian state, and this is a significant indicator.’ He explained that ‘these recognitions are the result of the continuous struggle of the Palestinian people, their commitment to their right to self-determination and the establishment of their state, as well as the ongoing resistance to Israel and the popular movements in Europe.’
Sarhan concluded by emphasizing that ‘this step is incomplete unless the world decides to stop the war of starvation,’ stressing ‘the necessity of an international and decisive resolution to deter the United States from using its veto.’
