“Despite safe distances and directions being set by a professional company, and numerous checks conducted before the concert, the incident occurred due to defective products,” the company noted.

They further expressed deep apologies for alarming the audience and causing discomfort.

The statement mentioned that the two injured fans received treatment at an on-site temporary clinic. Pledis committed to “actively supporting” their further treatment, though financial support details remain unclear.

The company plans to contact all concert attendees from Saturday to identify any additional injuries.

“Moreover,” the statement continued, “to prevent reoccurrence at the September 14 concert, we will avoid using the problematic product and will conduct a more thorough safety inspection before deploying special effects.”
