Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club (SGSC), a prominent golfing hub in the UAE, recently hosted the 10th Senior Summer Open Golf Championship on Saturday, September 28th. This landmark event attracted golfers from across the region, eager to challenge themselves in the tough summer conditions.
The championship was claimed by Shui Wang, who delivered an impressive performance, scoring 42 Stableford points, with six net birdies. Wang’s steady play earned him the title and a place in the tournament’s legacy.
Sultan Mahmood finished as runner-up, just one point behind with 41 points, and Zein Ismail secured third place with a commendable 40 points.
In the Super Senior Division (60+), Riaz Khan showcased his experience with a steady 36-point win to take home the trophy.
In the Gross Division, Amiya Ranjan impressed with 34 gross points, including six birdies, topping the leaderboard.
Celebrating over a decade of this annual event, SGSC continues to offer a platform for golfers of all ages and skill levels, cementing its status as a key figure in UAE golf.
