Television star Sharon Osbourne recently opened up about her life following the passing of her husband, singer-songwriter Ozzy Osbourne, on July 22. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans for their “overwhelming love and support,” according to People.
In an Instagram update, she shared her journey since the death of the Black Sabbath legend.
“I’m struggling to find the words to truly convey my appreciation for the immense love and support you’ve shown on social media,” she captioned a video featuring herself and her daughter.
“Your comments, posts, and tributes have offered me more comfort than you can imagine. None of it has gone unnoticed; in fact, it has helped me through many tough nights. While I’m still finding my way, I wanted to share some incredible creatures I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with,” she mentioned to People.
Sharon added, “Forming a connection with these magnificent birds is entirely based on trust and confidence. They will perch on you only if they feel you are safe and fearless. It’s a bond I understand well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
She ended the post with, “I love you all, and thank you deeply for the extraordinary love you continue to send my way.”
This Instagram post marks Sharon’s first public comments since Ozzy’s death and her initial photo shares from Black Sabbath’s final concert in early July.
Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, just weeks after his final performance.
John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne, the iconic frontman of the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, died at 76. He had a memorable reunion with his bandmates and delivered a monumental farewell concert weeks before his passing on July 22.
Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2023. On July 30, loved ones attended his funeral in Birmingham, England, while fans lined the streets of his beloved hometown to bid farewell.
The family and cortege visited Broad Street, where the Black Sabbath bridge and bench have become a memorial to the Crazy Train singer, adorned with flowers, photos, and notes.
