The ministry’s statement read: “Sikorsky Aircraft Company in Stratford, Connecticut, has been awarded a modified contract worth $10,334,480,065. This includes a fixed-price incentive (with successive targets) and a final fixed price under the previous contract.
The statement added: “This contract modification is part of a multi-year program for “CH-53K” helicopters, which finalizes the terms for the ninth and tenth batches, and adds additional quantities for batches eleven through thirteen, along with the total supply and accompanying support for the program and aircraft.”
