Al-Asfari pointed out that “the visit was successful by all standards and represents a point of strength for the new Syrian administration, proving that it does not want to enter into hostile axes with anyone.”
The political expert noted that “Russia has played a significant role in preventing the division of Syria and unifying political and dialog efforts with various factions. It understands how to be an active and positive player in supporting the unity of Syrian geography, establishing security and safety, and reinforcing the Syrians’ feeling that they are within one nation, leading Syria towards a safe phase with balanced relations with everyone.”
Regarding investment in Syria, the strategic researcher confirmed that “the Caesar Act remains the main obstacle to investments, and what is required to achieve them is to establish civil peace through dialogue, not force.”
