Sunmarke School has celebrated exceptional academic achievements this summer, boasting excellent results in GCSE, A Level, BTEC, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Tariq Bell, Head of Secondary, remarked: “Our GCSE students have excelled this year, thanks to their ambition, determination, and resilience. We’re pleased that 55% of all GCSE grades were 9–7 (equivalent to A* or A). About 75% of students attained grades 9–6 (A*–B), with notable success in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and the challenging Further Mathematics, among others. Coupled with our A Level, BTEC, and IB results earlier this summer, these achievements highlight our consistent excellence throughout the secondary school.”

GCSE: Students excelled across diverse subjects, guided by expert teaching, personalized support, and Sunmarke’s Positive Education ethos. 95% of grades were A*-C, the global standard for a strong pass.

A Level and BTEC: The school achieved a 100% pass rate. An impressive 76% of all A Level and BTEC grades were A*–B, placing Sunmarke in Dubai’s Outstanding category. Nearly half (44%) of all A Level results were A*–A, while 87% of BTEC grades were Distinction or Distinction*.
