According to the Hebrew Channel 12, this agreement comes after years of tensions and conflicts, aiming to enhance stability and reduce Iranian influence while ensuring Israeli security. The channel mentioned that the agreement includes a ban on deploying strategic weapons, such as missiles and air defense systems, within Syrian territory to ensure the continuation of Israeli air superiority in the region.

The channel further stated that the agreement also includes commitments to rebuild Syria with American support and Gulf contributions, aiming to restore stability to the war-torn country while reducing Iranian influence in the region. Despite the security opportunities this agreement offers to Israel, Channel 12 pointed to potential strategic risks, making this move fraught with challenges.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry denied on Saturday the validity of the circulating news about an imminent security agreement between Syria and Israel, set for September 25th. The Ministry’s Media Coordination and Communication Office, in response to an inquiry from the “Syria TV” website, confirmed that what was published in this regard is “baseless.”

Arab media outlets had reported, quoting high-level Syrian sources, that “the two sides will sign a security agreement under sponsorship, preceded by a speech by Syrian President for the transitional phase, Ahmed Shara, at the United Nations on September 24th.”
