During the DP World Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, Yas Links Abu Dhabi unveiled the Tommy Fleetwood Academy (TFA), heralding a new chapter for golf development in the UAE capital.
After upgrading its modern training facilities, the academy now fully operates under the Tommy Fleetwood Academy name, strengthening the partnership between Viya Golf and the esteemed golfer. This launch bolsters Yas Links Abu Dhabi’s status as a premier hub for golf excellence and education in the region.
The academy introduces TFA’s successful player-development approach to Abu Dhabi, enhancing the existing network at Jumeirah Golf Estates and fostering a connected performance community within the Viya portfolio.
A cherished connection
Tommy Fleetwood, the Academy’s Founder, remarked:

At Yas Links, golfers will access advanced coaching technology and a high-performance environment, featuring two swing studios with top-tier simulators, an indoor putting studio, and systems like PLATFORM Golf, Trackman, Swing Catalyst, and Sam PuttLab.
This follows a significant upgrade earlier this year, positioning Yas Links’ practice facilities among the best in the Middle East. Relaunching under the TFA brand brings Fleetwood’s expert approach to Abu Dhabi, merging advanced insights, data-driven tools, and a passion for the sport at all levels.
