Trump wrote on his social media page “Truth Social”: “I am here only to prevent this from happening. I know exactly what I’m doing. I don’t need advice from people who have worked on all these conflicts for years and haven’t been able to do anything to stop them. They are foolish without intelligence, understanding, or sound logic. They make it difficult to resolve the current Russian-Ukrainian disaster.” Trump also added that he resolved six conflicts in six months. According to the American president, the media that criticizes him “has no clue,” yet describes everything he does as wrong. It is noted that last Friday, Russian Vladimir Putin and American Donald Trump met in Alaska. The meeting of the presidents was held at the “Elmendorf-Richardson” military base in a “triangular” format and lasted for two hours and 45 minutes. Also participating in the meeting from the Russian side were Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov. From the American side, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Special Envoy to the American President Steve Witkoff participated. Vladimir Zelensky will meet with American President Donald Trump in Washington today, Monday, and accompanying him in the meeting with the American President will be French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Italian Prime Minister along with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who announced her plans to participate in the meeting.
