Trump Receives Award in Oval Office

Members of the Nixon family, along with the Chairman of the Foundation, Ambassador Robert Copley, presented the award to President Trump at a ceremony held in the Oval Office at the White House. The Foundation stated in a message on the platform ‘X’: ‘President Trump’s foreign policy, ‘America First’, is based on proactive personal diplomacy coupled with the philosophy of peace through strength. The results have been impressive in terms of the number of cease-fire agreements and peace agreements he has achieved around the world.’

The Foundation highlighted ‘Trump’s achievements in foreign policy, including mediating the ‘Abraham Accords’ to normalize relations between Israel and its neighbors, mediating ceasefires in many conflict areas, and concluding the peace agreement in Gaza, which stipulated the release of all Israeli prisoners and laid the foundation for a stable settlement in the Middle East.’

Trump has repeatedly stated that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, but in the end, the prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition politician Maria Corina Machado. The American President told reporters at the White House that the awardee contacted him personally and said she was accepting the award in his honor, believing that he deserves it.

The Nobel Committee in Oslo announced that this year’s prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, ‘in recognition of her ongoing efforts to promote the democratic rights of the Venezuelan people,’ according to the committee.
