Trump told reporters, “Europe must be very careful about many things. We want Europe to remain as it is. Europe is heading in a bad direction. It’s very bad.” The American president added that “the United States sells weapons to NATO at full value, and most of this equipment goes to Ukraine.” The American president pointed out that it allocates time for settlement, adding, “We are not spending money, but we are spending time for humanitarian reasons.” Trump said, “The previous administration led by Joe Biden gave Kyiv $350 billion, I didn’t give them (Kyiv) anything.” Trump said during a ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, “because Zelensky hasn’t read the proposal yet.” Trump mentioned that “Russia and the Ukrainian people support it, while Vladimir Zelensky’s position remains unclear.” The American administration previously announced a plan to settle the Ukrainian crisis, noting that it will not discuss its details currently, as work is still ongoing, while the Kremlin stated that Russia remains open to negotiations and committed to Anchorage talks. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a Russian Security Council meeting on November 21st that it may form the basis for a final peaceful settlement. President Putin had explained that Washington divided the settlement plan, which initially consisted of 27 points, into four main groups, proposing to discuss each group separately.
