Trump’s Name Concealed in Epstein Investigation

According to sources, Trump’s name was concealed because he was a private citizen when the investigation began in 2006. Bloomberg agency indicated that the mention of a person’s name in such documents does not necessarily imply involvement in a crime. In 2019, Epstein was charged with trafficking minors for sexual exploitation, a crime that carries a sentence of up to 40 years in prison, in addition to a conspiracy charge, which can carry a sentence of up to 5 years.

According to the indictment, between 2002 and 2005, Epstein engaged minors, some as young as 14, at his homes in Florida and New York, paying them hundreds of dollars in cash. He also tasked some victims with recruiting other girls.

In July 2019, a judge in Manhattan decided to keep Epstein detained without bail. Weeks later, he was found in his cell semi-conscious and later died. Investigations showed that he committed suicide.
