The Turkish defense, in a statement, said that “Israel continues the massacres in Gaza mercilessly, where children, women, and the elderly are killed and left to die of hunger,” accusing Israel of committing genocide in the sector and ignoring the simplest human values in front of the world. It is noted that the plan to control the city involves forcibly displacing about one million Palestinians to the southern sector, which has caused widespread international criticism of Israel, which continues its readiness to implement the plan despite all warnings.

The residents of the Gaza Strip suffer from unprecedented levels of hunger, with UN organizations warning of the spread of famine and the rising number of deaths due to malnutrition, especially among children, the sick, and the disabled. From October 7, 2023, to August 21, 2025, the war on Gaza has resulted in the death of about 62,000 Palestinians, in addition to around 157,000 injured, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

In turn, Russian Presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expressed Moscow’s concern about the escalation of the situation in the Gaza Strip and the fall of civilian casualties, confirming that Moscow is closely monitoring the situation and looks forward to returning to the path of peace.
