The UAE has firmly denounced a fatal shooting in Jerusalem on Monday, resulting in 5 deaths and several injuries.
The incident occurred at the outskirts of Jerusalem when two assailants arrived in a car and fired at a bus stop near Ramot Junction. Israeli police reported that the attackers were neutralized.
The identity and motive of the shooters remain unclear. The Palestinian group Hamas praised two Palestinian “resistance fighters” for the attack but did not claim responsibility.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized its strong condemnation of such terrorist acts and its unwavering opposition to all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability.
The Ministry also expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families, Israel, and its people, while wishing a quick recovery for the injured.
