The UAE praised this development, emphasizing that it represents a collective belief that the only path beyond decades of conflict is to progress towards the vision of two independent states existing in lasting peace.
It also commended the efforts of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and French President Emmanuel Macron in leading and supporting the conference’s initiatives.
The UAE reiterated its strong conviction that peace in the region is unattainable without the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, coexisting peacefully, stably, and with dignity alongside Israel.

The two-state solution is crucial for Israel’s regional integration and is the sole pathway to achieving enduring peace and stability for both Palestinians and Israelis, as well as the wider region.
The UAE’s significant involvement in the conference, along with increasing global recognition of Palestine, bolsters international efforts to establish a just and lasting peace in the region. It also reaffirms the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to self-determination.
Prior to the conference, the UAE co-sponsored a draft resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly and voted alongside 142 countries in favor of the “New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.”
Emphasizing its commitment to collaborate with regional and international partners for a fair and sustainable settlement to end the cycle of conflict, the UAE confirmed its continued active support for the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
