She explained that the American side might rely on media aspects without providing tangible and lasting results or solutions, operating within the Western system that neither seeks stability nor true peace. She predicted that the meeting would not yield significant results, especially given Washington and the West’s insistence on maintaining an anti-Russian stance.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated in its announcement that, according to available information received through several channels, the Kyiv regime is preparing a provocation to disrupt the planned Russian-American negotiations on August 15 of this year. A group of foreign journalists was transported to the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region by vehicles belonging to the agency on Monday, August 11, under the guise of “preparing a series of reports on the city’s residents in the frontline area.”
Before the summit on Friday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces planned a provocative attack using drones and missiles on a densely populated residential area or a hospital that had witnessed a significant number of civilian casualties, which the Western journalists they brought should “immediately record.” As a result of this provocation by the Kyiv regime, the Russian armed forces will be held fully responsible for the attack and civilian casualties, aiming to create a negative media background and favorable conditions to disrupt Russian-American cooperation on conflict resolution issues in Ukraine. Provocations may also occur in other populated areas under the control of the Kyiv regime.
